  Tinderbox upgrade

  I noticed on Toolfarm’s site that Tinderbox is “re-engineering” its T1-T3 sets. Toolfarm is offering a free T4 to folks who upgrade their T1-3.

  I like Tinderbox, but would appreciate a more expert opinion regarding the value of the re-engineered T1-3. It winds up being a bit more expensive way of buying T4 than simply purchasing T4 itself. Is it worth it?

  The main thing is that they support 32 bpc and they have gotten rid of those mini-previews on most effects. Other than that there wasn’t too much to see at IBC and their presentation wasn’t that exciting in the grand scheme of things (very little to see of T4). Haven’t heard anything from The Foundry yet, so I can’t really tell you more.
