    Hello Friends;

    I’m finishing reel 1, the timeline is green, I save it and say goodnight.

    Morning: Open reel 1 back up and last nights green timeline is now blue (All audio is in 48K and video captured on XL1’s. Running no outboard programs or gear on my system.

    Plot twist: I fiddle around a bit, and discover that if I simply play with the “exposure toggle” on the video timeline, the render bar for that section turns from blue back to green! In five minutes of “fiddling” I have the blue render bar for reel one back to green!…

    Alas…it would be good not to do this on a 90 minute program every morning. Anyone know of a magic switch I’m hitting, or not hitting, that’s causing this funny business?

    All Best—

    Did you leave FCP running and the project open when you said good night?

    Sounds like you’ve got Auto Render checked in your User Preferences > General and it did just that overnight.
