  TC problems…need to sort out drop frame vs. NON-drop frame

  We edited our offline low-res project at 29.97 drop frame.

  We are conforming our online HD project at 1080 23.98 psf non-drop frame (there is no drop frame TC at 24).

  However, our sound mixer requested OMFs with NON-drop frame TC that we exported from our 29.97 offline work sequence. In order to export as such, I changed the sequence settings from drop frame to NON-drop frame TC.
  Then I exported OMFs.

  Is this okay?

  Should I copy and paste our audio from the offline 29.97 sequence into the online 23.98 sequence, then export an OMF?

  Please advise. I would hate for my mixer to be doing work that he’ll have to redo.
