  I’m having consistent problems burning a DVD from a FCP project. Basically, whenever I export a FCP file to my desktop using compressor (I was told that’s the best way) I then have problems when I import it in to DVD Studio Pro and try to burn a DVD. There are hits all over the images.

  The problem isn’t your method… try a dual pass high quality compression setting in Compressor. If this fails post back.

  If it persists, trash your render files in FCP… and if no joy, recapture your video… There’s something wrong with the source media if “hits” are happening all over the place… especially with a dual pass VBR setting in Compressor. This never fails for me.
