    Hey,

I’ve had a project dropped on my lap in which I’ve been asked to recreate the look of the end of the new 007 movie trailer… here’s the link:

    https://www.sonypictures.com/movies/casinoroyale/site/flash_dl.html?dl=1,2,1

The main part I’m looking for advice on is the whitish/blue flash, mixed with the foggy look when the 007 joins with the Casino Royale title. I was thinkin of some shine effects mixed with feathered reshaping masks… But the bluish white flash seems puzzling… any advice is appreciate!

My guess is that the Bluish-White Flash is the text 007 with, either EE Camera Flash, part of their effect essential plugin collection. It used to be a freebie, but the link is no longer viable, so sorry ’bout that.

It can also be accomplished with Aharon’s tut “Creating a Film Flash Transition” (click his noggin and scroll).
