  edit mpeg2 or how to edit dvd

  Hello !

  I have to edit a dvd and cut some part, put some fade in…
  I want to know how to do it without using a deck (sony beta sx),
  and with lossless quality.

  Now i use cinematize to have a quicktime file but i get a 640X480 square pixel file. its good for the quality,but when i converted again in mpg with compressor,i get the blur of the missing line (720X480). i can have a mpeg-2 file without compression with cinematize, but can i edit it in Final cut pro HD ?
