Has anybody seen this? I seem to have a luminance shift when I use the IMX format as my compressor of my video and timeline. We use Sony’s XDCAM as a network appliance to aquire fooatge using Flip4Mac’s MXF Import plugin. It works but I get the luminance shift. Now, if I take that footage and drop it into a timeline that uses the Uncompressed 8-bit codec and play it, I don’t get that luminance shift at all. Its only occuring with the IMX codec. I’m using a AJA Kona2 card with the breakout box so that when my company does go HiDef, this system will be HD ready.

Oh yeah…. Here’s another. Why is it that I can’t digitize HDV using Batch Capture or Capture Clip? I have to capture on the fly only. That sucks! I’m starting to get the idea that FCS is a little buggy, right now. What’s your opinion?
