  FCP crash after dgitize

  FCP crashes after digitizing clip.
  Close the capture window, click on the new clip, CRASH.
  After reboot, the new clip plays just fine.

  Just started doing it today, haven’t added anything or changed settings.
  Here’s the log report
  Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
  Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000024

  FCP otherwise works fine.
  I Fixed permissions, prebind, etc.
  Any other ideas?

  FCP 4.5
  QT 6.5.2

  same here. it all started immediately after updating to 10.3.8.

  I talked to a couple people about this and they say a CLEAN Instal should do the trick.
