  I want to be sure that I’m archiving edits at their best and most retrievable. How can I best output a Quicktime file that will give me split audio tracks?

  Split your audio in FCP and it will go out the same way to the quicktime.

  Are you asking whether to export all tracks to separate .aif files? That would be best with 3+ tracks in your master seqence… give each the identical “range” and you are good…
