I am working (FCP 4.5) on capturing a project in offline (low res) mode; I will be up resing it later. At the clapboard frame there is a small difference in the time code read off the DV deck and the browser at the same spot.
Can you tell me if there is a feature in FCP that will compensate for this difference so I will not have problems when I up res? Is there is an article on that feature?

    Hi Guy

    It’s in the main menu:
Modify > Timecode. There you can change the value if the current frame or from the first frame.

If this offset is the same for all clips, then obviously you’ll need to adjust your capture preset.

Rienk Thanks for the note, I would like to look up the article but can’t seem to find it any recommendations?
