Video Playback Problems in Multiclip Mode
I’m playing back 6 video chanels in Multiclip mode and playback will only run about 4-6 seconds before the image goes pixely and playback stops. We are running 8 bit uncompressed through AJA Io. When we run 4 clips it runs fine… but more than 4, the above happens. Is this a Graphics card issue? Or a Ram Issue? Raid issue? Or other? Please Advise! Thanks.
BTW – other than above, we are having great luck with the multiclip feature and feel it will contribute greatly to our workflow.

Can’t tell if it’s any of those issues since don’t know what your system is. If you could re-post with System Info, that would be great. A simple test is to see how many video layers you can playback without rendering then that should be the same you should be able ot playback in Multiclip mode. When you post your sytem info, include your RT settings, have you taken advantage of the new Dynamic setting?

Sounds like a drive/speed issue to me. What are you using as media drives?
