  Firewire Video Switcher

  I know I’ve seen one before but can’t remember either the manufacturer or product name; I am wondering if there is a firewire multi-camera video switcher with on board monitoring available for final cut pro.

  What do you want to do? Capture live switched footage from a switcher?
  In that case a DV output to the Mac would be your FCP monitoring during capture now.

  Or if you are searching for multicam functionallity in FCP:
  Buy FCP5

  The DataVideo SE 800 (the link in bockos’ post above) is my favorite, but there is also this new addition from “Focus/Videonics.”
