  Upconverting DV to DVCPRO HD.

  I am currently working on a 30 min. show that was shot in DV and I have to deliver a DVCPRO HD master. If I scale up the footage to HD it looks terrible. We have a 1200A with SDI in out that we use to downconvert to SD. Can I cut the show in DV, master in DV and then upconvert through the SDI ports on the deck? Is a Terranex the best, quality wise, option?

  We have a Blackmagic HD Pro card. What would a kona 2 do that is better than the Black Magic?

  Scott,

  In all my research on this topic, the Kona 2 is the only solution besides Teranex, and almost as good.
