  • Compressor and batching???

When exporting from FCP to compressor it says a file name already exists in this name. I have changed the name of the file/sequence, even opened a new project and it still comes up. If I restart the computer I can export one file, but if I go to batch more sequences it tells me the file name already exists. I’ve just trashed my final cut preferences, to which this problem occured before and after doing so. Can I trash compressor preferences, or is that not wise?
    What to do???
    Thanks

Might try exporting your sequence as a non self contained QT movie and importing that file into Compressor. Give it a name you know isn’t anywhere on the computer.

If you double click the file name in the batch window, you can change the name there too.
