  18 frame, 8mm effect?

  Hey folks –

  A client is asking for a 8mm 18 fps effect in a couple of shots in a spot. Any plugins for that or other ways to achieve that type of film flicker? Thanks in advance.

  use a strobe filter as well.

  if you;re NTSC, a strobe setting of 2 will aproximate a 15fps look.
  a setting or 1.67 will get you pretty close to 18fps.

  My guess is that if you want the most realistic effect to film it with an 8mm camera from the screen and have it developed and scanned.
  But maybe that is not what you wanted to hear, because it takes some time.
