When Final Cut Studio arrives tomorrow, I want to do a fresh install of all the pro apps. What’s the best way to remove the Production Suite from the system? I already have Tiger installed.

    Hi,

I would clone the partition so if you run into any problems you can get back to where you are now with a reboot.

Then I would do a fresh (erase) install of Tiger and the new app’s on the original partition.

    Best Wishes,

Ok, what’s the second best way?

I don’t want to do a clean install of Tiger since I did the upgrade already and it works great. I just want to get rid of FCP 4.5.

    Hi,

I’m not sure a manual delete and install is any more reliable than just doing a normal upgrade…

Searching the apple knowledge base for uninstall fcp turns up:
