  Helo,
  Can I do directly on shoot Online switching on new FCP 5. Since it has 16 SDI inputs.

  Please throw some light on this.

  16 SDI inputs? Where did you get that idea?

  If you by a capture card, you will get 1 SDI input. FCP is a non-linear editor…not a live switcher.

  You might be referring to the Workgroup Hub (I think that’s what it is called) from Blackmagic, but that’s just a video / audio router essentially for FCP, it does not allow realtime switching. As Shane notes, FCP is an editor, not a live switcher.
