  importing wireless audio…3 and 4 channel audio

  I’ve been using adobe premier pro, which will not import my wireless audio. Will Final Cut Pro 4 or 5 import 3 and 4 channel audio?

  Yes, it will.

  FCP 4x (with QT 6x) will only import 2 channels AT A TIME, but you can choose to import CH 3 & 4 or CH 1 & 2 during a capture.

  Apparently the new FCP 5 (and QT 7) will import multiple channels of audio on a single capture… that will be a useful improvement.
