Does anyone in this fine group has any hands-on experience with small runs DVD/CD duplicators/printers such as the Primera Bravos units or others in the 2-3K price range.

    Thanks

    Nino:

I’ve had the Primera cd duplicator for about 2 years. I was looking to do the 25 to 50 disc run from time to time. My first order was a rush job for 650. (because the hopper only holds 25,I ended up taking it home & running it off my laptop). To date we’ve done thousands of discs without a problem. The only thing that has troubled me has been, when I tell the Primera reps how many discs I’ve done they always ask…”and it’s still working?”. So about a year ago I bought an MF technology dual DVD system. Both systems are working fine to date.

    Good Luck

We’ve had a Bravo Primera for a couple of years. We also have had good luck with it, except for replacing the dvd drive that died. From time to time the printing is erratic… but it is a first generation machine. Our biggest complaint is that it the hoppers only hold 25 discs.

I too have a Bravo II. It works fine. You have to keep an eye on ink levels and clogs but other then that it works great. I had my DVD drive go down but sending it back was very easy and the service was good. I talked to somebody on the phone. A human voice no less. Very pleased and annoyed that after I bought mine they came out with one that does stacks of 100 discs.
