  Thumbnails go off line

  For some reason my Thumbnails keep going off line. In the bin it looks like the clip is off line but if you double click it it’s there and plays no problem. I finally realized that it’s the thumbnail that is missing.

  Anyone have this problem? I can’t get them to come back. I have tried closing all the windows and switching from list to thumbnail to see if they would come back but no luck.

  The ones that just went missing are some clips that I just re-captured because they had some dropouts. They were fine after re-captureing them but today when I opened that bin they all went “blink” and were off line right before my eyes.

  I have also had some go missing in the timeline as well.

  I am using a dual 2.5 G5 with a lacie FW800 drive for media. 10.3.8, FCP 4.5, QT 6.5.2
