  edit to tape – HD deck does not record

  when editing to tape, after i press ok, the HD deck starts at the appointed time, the record button engages, but no image is going to tape. for my D5 deck, the deck starts at the appointed time, but the record button doesn’t engage. what am i doing wrong? also, if i just hit record on the deck manually and then play my sequence, the material does record. could it be connected incorrectly?

  Be sure to check your device settings tab of your edit to tape window. If your setup is like mine, you have like 100 settings to choose from. Don’t know what card you are using, but you should be able to setup whether you are connected component, SDI, etc. there.
