  Transcoding in Media Manager

  TO anyone who’s done this…

  When I’m in Media Manager, recompressing a sequence from DV up to Uncompressed 8bit, I get a dialogue box asking me if “proper frame size and pixel aspect ratios should be preserved”. If I check “Yes”, then does that mean I DO WANT the DV reconformed to CCIR-601 rectangular pixels and 720*486 frame size or that I DO NOT want the reformatting done? I’m not sure I understand what that box is asking.
