I hate to say it, but the way comments and replies to articles functions now is not nearly as elegant as it should be. When someone replies and you try to reply or comment the link does not take you directly to the post you’re trying to respond to, and sometimes it’s impossible to find that post in a long list.

As an example, try the link below…

The following post has been made in response to a thread for which you have requested e-mail
    notification.

    [Abraham Chaffin] “Hello David,

Thank you for letting us know about this. This is fixed now.”

Nope, not yet I fear Abraham. The links I receive via my mailbox really don’t work as expected.

As an example, in the case below, the links take us to the top of main article, not to the post we’re looking for.

Like a lot of people are saying: no one is CALLING for film to die, but the writing is on the wall.

Film has its inherent aesthetic, but its advantages visually are fairly slim at this point. And even more important for producers and indies, the price/budget comparison.

I’m in love with s16 film, personally. But, it’s going. No use in folks getting all up in arms about it.

    Hello David,

The expected behavior is a redirect from

    https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/296/16411
    to
    https://magazine.creativecow.net/article/film-fading-to-black#16411

The link redirects properly for me using Firefox and Chrome. It looks like IE and Safari are dropping out the hash tag right now. I’ll see if I can find a work around for these browsers.

    Thanks again,

    Abraham

    Hello David,

Give that a shot now. It seems to redirect correctly now in FF, Chrome, IE and Safari.
