  Need input on LCD monitors

  Just had one of my two 17″ CRTs go out and I am thinking about replacing them both with LCDs. I can’t afford a Mac display and was wondering what I need to look for in a LCD. I was checking at Costco website and they have a 17″ LCD that says this: Sharp 17″ Analog LCD, Res: 1280 x 1024, Contrast: 450:1, Response:16ms,
