Dead Pixel Fix?
Posted by Gtv2000 on April 6, 2005 at 11:48 amThe Beta SP cameras we’ve been using each have a dead pixel in the CCD. Is there a way for me to map the dead (white) pixel to a neighboring pixel to disguise the problem?

April 6, 2005 at 3:31 pmIf you’re wanting to fix the problem in your camera, look into something called Image Mapping. It will kick on the dead pixels and costs about $1200.00, as opposed to paying Sony $6000.00 for a new CCD block, and another $2000.00 for them to install it and ship it back to you.
