  Importing HDV into FCPHD with a Sony HDR-FX1E

  Hi I’m having troubles importing HDV from my new camera into FCP
  For some reason it’s not appearing in the capture window, thus not
  capturing. The camera doesn’t seem to link with FCPHD.
  Do I need a plugging for this particular camera.

  I know it’s not the hardware as I have imported video into imoveHD.

  Somebody please help.

  FCP does not support the HDV format at this time. Only iMovie HD and FC Express currently work with the HDV format.
