Problems with new sequences in FCP
Posted by Solon Quinn on April 5, 2005 at 2:01 amEvery time I make a new sequence and try and bring footage down to it, it comes out like a small box within the frame. Please help me.

April 5, 2005 at 2:10 amYour media is much smaller than the sequence settings you’re using. What’s the media? What are the sequence settings?

April 5, 2005 at 2:22 amThe medis is just regular digital videio. And it has been working fine. Just lately when I try and create new sequences does it go all to hell. And I do not know what my sequence settings are.

Near as I can tell, you don’t seem to have put much effort into learning the specifics of how FCP works. FCP came with a set of manuals & tutorials. I’d recommend that you run through the tutorials, & then start going through specific sections of the manual for anything that’s still not clear.
