Apple is SUCH a joke!
I am so done with Apple. Anyone want to buy a FCP suite?
I have had it with Apple. Everytime I turn on my G5 there is another .x os update that breaks something. FCP 4.5 is still not stable and I am sure they will not fix it before they release version 5 (which will be premature of course). Motion was highly overrated and the @#$@ .mail app still won’t remove messages from a POP server! Arggg!

If this isn’t someones idea of an April fools joke – it should be.
Computers break- computers flake – they ain’t a toaster. Users flake- users like to blame anything else except them selves for “GLITCHES” in hardware and software.
Considering the masses of people who use the very same applications that you do, and seem to have no trouble; wouldn’t you think you’d get the fact that it could be you or your system OR….
NO one forced you to upgrade to the next version of OS X. Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Motion all work great on my dual 1.0 Ghz MAC.
Why doesn’t it work for you??????

I have 5 completely different machines and configurations all with FCP 4.5 on them. All work perfectly fine. FCP is very very stable. If it wasn’t business wouldn’t be up 600% over the past three years at my facility.

Who told you to update? I update my system manually after testing the OS on another machine and waiting for AJA to approve the new update.

Motion is a fantastic app and you can read about Richard Harrinton’s amazing film opener and I’m using it currently for a broadcast server. I use a POP mail server and all messages are removed every 7 days as instructed.
Sell you Mac, switch to Windows and get the Adobe Suite. I’m sure it will perform to your liking.
