  missing HAL fragment

  Floh, I have a pre osx media 100. version 7.2 I think. I haven’t been in production field for a while. (military). I can’t get it to boot up now on my G-3 . It says Missing HAL fragment. You helped a guy 6 years ago with the problem. Can you itterate how to fix this so I can mess around with this again. Thanks, Dan.

  This means that either there is a problem “talking” to the hardware, or a software issue. If you have an installer of your version, you could try to reinstall the software. Or as far as I remember, there was a hardware test application included with the Media 100 installation. Try running the hardware test to see if there is an issue with your board.

  If your board is okay and you don´t have an installer for your software version, maybe the Boris guys can help; though I am not sure how far back their software archive is going.
