AE Exports for M100 720p
Here is an export question for M100. If you are doing some simple animations in AE CS3, do you have to create them at 59.94 for your M100 720 59.94 timeline? I am just not certain what composition settings you should use so you can import your animations into your bin for editing in M100. Your assistance is forever welcome!

Not sure about CS3, but it should work as with the newer versions. Simply create a comp in 1280*720, square pixels, and with 59.94 framerate. Then render out the file as progressive, and it should fast-import into Media 100.

Back to doing another video and still having an issue with exports out of M100. The playback of the animations looks okay in M100 13.1 but once they are exported to QT they stutter. The timeline is 720p 59.94 for both M100 and AE CS3. You can see the effect in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDFAD2OL_ds
I have used both the ProRes and ProRes HQ. The frame rate on both is 59.94. I have been told to use upper field first in AE for HD renders. Any ideas on how else I should set up the codecs in M100, perhaps the export settings. I just can’t seem to find why this is happening. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as we will be doing much more of this, in additional to adding Canon 5D footage.

If you open the exported QuickTime file in QuickTime player, does it look already like this? If you look at the QuickTime info (Command-I in QT Player), which framerate is displayed there? Maybe Media 100 does write a wrong framerate on self-contained exports, or maybe QuickTime has a general problem with 59.94 media?
