  Media 100 Conform

  Hello
  I am trying to conform a program from HD 1080 1920 to sd and it crashes the program. I have most of my clips in A&B. Everything is rendered.
  Program is 6 Min in duration. Media 100 Suite 1.6.2 Intel. I have conformed other programs without any problems.

  try to export it (Pro Res), if it succeeds work with it by re-importing in M100 (fast import)

  Maybe you have different sources in your timeline like interlace and or progressive and sometimes it may give you trouble…

  Anyway you won’t get good quality by conforming in M100.
  I always export the program – pro res 4:2:2 (HQ) – with its native specs and downconvert with MPEG Streamclip as a SD Pro Res 4:2:2 file.

  Another thing you could try would be to split the timeline into 2, and then to do a conform on the first and the second part individually. This way you probably can narrow down which clip causes your problems.

  Thanks for reply. I m trying to conform 16:9 to 4:3 even if I get the letterbox aspect.

  Thank you Flo I had put in a countdown from Digital juice and that was the problem.
