Export audiofiles
Posted by John Twigt on December 22, 2009 at 11:22 amI notice when i use export (either option) audio only the tracks assigned to the first bus actually get exported. Do i miss something or is it just a flaw? I wonder why the option “export buses as separate tracks” does exist if it doesn’t export the buses as separate tracks.
Any help would be appreciated

December 22, 2009 at 2:43 pmJohn,
what version are you using, and what format are you exporting to? Just tried it with the lastest version of Suite and with a QuickTime by ref export, and it did work as expected

December 22, 2009 at 2:51 pmHi Floh,
(sorry was busy, so a bit late this reply)
I’m using M100 suite 1.1.0 on a G5 ( 4 x 2.5GHZ 4.5 SDRAM) running 10.5.8 with QT 7.6.4.
Exporting to .mov and aif, both don’t work
thanks

December 22, 2009 at 2:53 pmTry opening the exported file in QuickTime Player and look at the clip info (Command J). There you should 2 audio tracks if you have 2 buses, or one (stereo) track if you only have a single bus. Do you see them there?

No problem. I already wondered why it took you so long to answer 😉

Hmmm, that is strange. It works for me. Maybe you should upgrade to Suite 1.1.2?

December 22, 2009 at 3:08 pmCorrection here, the “export as separate tracks” ref export didn’t work (?) but the normal one did. (no clue why) However the exports (ref and normal) to aiff (and mov) as mixdown contain only sound from the first bus.
I will update to 1.1.2 by the way, forgot it was there…John Twigt

December 23, 2009 at 7:12 amI installed V1.1.2 and it didn’t help. Still the audiomixdown only contains audio from the first bus. (both aif and mov)
Anybody else with the same problem?John Twigt
