I am having problems with black levels importing clips that have come out of Color. I brought it back out of Color into a Final Cut sequence. Exported it as an AppleProRes file and brought it into Media 100 (also as an Apple Pro Res file) and now the blacks are all super crunched. The original footage was shot on XDCam and came into the system fine.

This also happened with some footage shot on the Canon D5 still camera brought in directly from the camera file. Can anyone tell me why this is happening or suggest what I can do to correct this?

The little button called scale RGB values solved it.

Just out of curiosity: why are you going to FCP from Color? You can roundtrip easily from Media 100 to Color to Media 100 in V13 with the XML exchange. Nothing to worry about imports into Media 100, and you can even replace the rendered shots from Color easily on your sequence with the “Update program from XML” command.
