I have been searching the cow for a while on the most effective and financially sound way to close caption my TV spots, but haven’t found much that is of help to me. Does anyone have any more useful information or link they can share that might help me out.
I’ve looked in to MacCaption but it seems expensive.

    Currently I am using
    Media 100 HDe V12.1.1 (Intel)
    After Effects CS3 Professional
    and
Episode to encode for DG Fastchannel distribution.

I have used Inqscribe for a small project. Because the program was designed for transciption, the subtitle side of the program is not as polished as it might be. However, I was very pleased with the result.

    Good luck,
    John
