  External monitor

  Mac OS 10.4.11, Media 100 HDe 12.0.2. What is the best way to monitor the input and output of both the deck and the computer. I would like to hook up a monitor for the system (including deck and computer) and an external monitor I could use for computer output only. Does this make sense and is it possible?
