corrupted bin file
Posted by Patrick Spohrer on September 28, 2008 at 10:18 pmI have a corrupted bin, is there any way to fix a corrupted bin? Or at least recover any of the bin info?
Please help.

September 29, 2008 at 6:18 amHave you looked into your backup folder? You can set up Media 100 to do backups of your bins as well as your timelines, so if that is turned on on your system you should be able to find the backed up bins in your backup folder.
On the other hand, I think I never had a corrupted bin with Media 100. The only time a bin would not open was when there was a damaged media file in this bin. Have you tried to open the bin with your media files offline (e.g. create a new project and open the bin in this project with “relink media” turned off)? -

did that and it still crashed Media100, so then I down loaded a demo of producer on a new system and try to open that bin with the files of line, crashed too.

What version of Media 100 are you using? Depending on the answer, I “MIGHT” have an idea that will work.
