Still having black-levels issues
i rendered out a 1080i 29.97 video out of after effects and imported into M100 12.7.1… i then created some lower third graphics in photoshop and used them as titles in the V1 track over the rendered AE video in my timeline. Since M100 didnt interpret the drop shadow on my imported PSDs correctly , i ended up creating individual titles in boris and importing them one by one into the boris program.
All looks fine when playback in realtime. However, when i render, export and watch the file from the finder, the black levels shift darker whenever the lower third overlay graphic goes up, then goes away when it fades out. I made absolute sure that my media/import/render settings are all set to the same codec, which is motion JPEG B. I intentionally avoided prores422 for this specific fluctuating black level issue but it still seems to be a problem. Any suggestions?
