  Media 100 want open

  This is the problem. I moved a older program to a new Mac with duel boot Media 100 and FCP.
  All is well then I find that some of the Boris Red effect didn’t transfer correctly. I get a codec error. So I download the legacy codecs (bad move) and now Media 100 want open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Simply reinstall your current Media 100 software version. I guess there is a conflict with your codecs somewhere.
  Do you have the latest version of RED installed? If not, try upgrading to the latest version.
