  HDe system

  Just setting up a new HDe system that we purchased being assured we could import P2 DVCPRO HD material. When I go to import I can only bring in material shot in SD. All HD clips say “codec not installed dvhp’. Obviously this was not installed with the software, so where can I get it? Can’t seem to find those codecs.

  All Apple Pro codecs (DVCProHD, ProRes,…) are installed with Apple FinalCutStudio2, and they are not available as standalone files. But if you can give me a clue where I can reach you via mail I maybe can give you a hint where you can get the codecs.
