Fitting textlayers to the workarea
Is there any method or shortcut to make a textlayers in and out point fit to the in and out point of the work area without draging them manually? For example, if the workarea starts at 2 seconds and ends at 5 and I want to postion the textlayer at the same time? I know about placing the layers startpoint at the timemarker, thats not the issue here. I would be very handy if one instead could use the in and outpoint for the workarea. Or any method to achive this result. I have done the RT*M thing, but found nothing. Thanks.

AFAIK you can only trim the entire comp to the workarea.
It shouldn’t be to hard to write a javascript that trims the selected layer to the workarea, though. (If you’re ubto scripting, that is).

I guess the fastest is the four shortcuts in order:
Shift Home, Alt [, Shift End, Alt ]
I thought you could make your own macros or shortcuts in AE 7, but I must have been dreaming, Oh well, something for the Adobe suggestion box.
