I run OSX 10.4 on a quad 2.66Ghz with two boot drives…one for FCP and one for Avid. I’ve had to keep them apart because Avid doesn’t enjoy the updates to OS and Quicktime that keep FCP nice and happy. Does the same hold true for Producer? Will it co-exist better with one program over another, and/or are there benefits to having it share a drive with one or the other? I know Media100 can use FCP captured media, so my first instinct would be to pair it with FCP. Is this true?

    Thanks.
