  XDCAM Into Media 100 HD

  I seem to remember a few weeks back someone posted news of a software download that enabled a workaround to get XD files into Media 100 as video for editing in HD. Can anyone please remind me what that was? Is Media 100 going to handle XD files? I am anxious to explore the possibilities of the new XDCAM Ex camera which is ideal for my requirements but I obviously have to edit with Media 100. Convergent Design have announced a magic new piece of kit for XDCAM material but it may be too elaborate for my purpose.

  Very many thanks Floh, I have now printed it out as an aide memoire. Am I right in thinking that I can only import the whole .Mov file and can only discard unwanted media once it is in Media 100?
