  HD Suite

  Can you upconvert from SD to HDSDI on the fly with the new HD Suite. Imput SD and pass it through to output HD. Will the HDX system do that also?

  I have a HDx (based on the ‘old’ media100 board an BO-box) running 11.5 and it does that. It also can (realtime) make your SD letterbox or anamorph (or a ‘homemade’ aspect ratio) while upscaling. I suppose the new HD suite (with KONA hardware ) does that, it at least is stated on their website. see here

  HD Suite Does SD to HD up convert just like the HDx m100 systems.
