  beginner’s tutorial

  I am a FCP user who needs – quickly — to learn the basics of media 100 hd for another project. Are there any books or online tutorials that cover the simple gettin started stuff?

  The tutorial which comes with the unit is a great place to start, otherwise the folks here are always happy to help.

  it’s for a slightly older version, by the basics will apply across the product line.

  The first chapter of the Media 100 manual is called “Jump Start”. It’s designed to get users up and running quickly and give you a quick overview of the application.
