  exporting to iPod difficulty

  Hi. I’m attempting to export a program to an iPod video. However, I keep getting an error message stating “could not complete the export from edit suite command because there is a parameter error.” Has anyone else had this difficulty? I don’t see an option to change any of the parameters on export. I’m running 8.2.3 on a Gr4 with QT 7.1.3 Thanks!

  Hi,

  Are you running the 8.2.3a update? The ipod problem was one of the specific issues it addressed.

  Thanks, Kieran. No, I do not have that version – I am downloading the update now. I noticed that it’s recommended to uninstall the previous version. Can I do this by throwing the ap in the trash or is there an uninstall function somewhere? Thanks again.

  Hi Floh. Thanks. I’m actually on 8.2.3 (but not the “a” version). Is it still OK to skip the uninstall?
