• Media 100

  missing “kext” file?

  Hi. I just moved my old G4. Something went wrong, had to reinstall the OS (10.4.7, Express Stripe, etc.) I attempted to open Media 100 and got an error message “Could not start the application because the Media 100 driver (Media_100_Vincent.kext) failed to load.”

  Do I need to reinstall the software completely? I did a search but could not find the file on my hard drive.

  I reinstalled the drivers, transcoder and keyspan serial assistant and everything (as far as I know) is fine.
