  Control track breaks while digitizing

  I am trying to digitize hi 8 tapes 2 hr each ) to the drives with Media 100. There are alot of timecode breaks..client would review the past footage and ff past the timecode end or control track, and start taping. Well everytime it reaches those breaks it stops. In FCP there is a preference to make a new clip at time code breaks, anyone out there know if Media 100 will do the same?
