  4X3 QT into a 16X9 project

  Hi Friends,
  Can’t figure out how to import a 4X3 QT graphic created by someone else to play in my timeline that’s setup for 16X9. I’ve tried to resize in AE but just keeps saying can’t place a 4X3 in a 16X9 timeline. As always – your vast knowledge is greatly appreciated! Kind Regards! Chris

  Is it a movie or a still? Anyway, on import make sure to set the aspect ratio setting to “16X9” in the import dialog. What system/version are you using? In Media 100 HD/sw and I think in V8.2 and up you can set the aspect ratio also in the “Change media attributes” dialog (for clips in a bin).
