  ATTO UL4D with Media 100i ver. 8.2.2

  Does anyone know if the ATTO UL4D will work properly in a Dual 1.42 G4 running Panther 10.3.9 and Media 100i ver. 8.2.2? Recently recieved the UL4D card and have been using UL3D card with Media 100.

  From ATTO’s website…
  “Backward compatible with PCI-based systems, preserving investment in legacy systems
  133 MHz PCI-X provides up to 1 GB/second data transfers, allowing full Ultra320 performance
  Fully backward compatible with 66 MHz and 33 MHz PCI specifications.
  Fully compatible with 64-bit and 32-bit PCI busses”

  If you have a UL3D why do you need a UL4D? Using Media100i, the UL3D is more than sufficient.

  I happened on one and know someone that can use a UL3D card. So if it will work in my current system, everyone is happy.
