  • M100 and FCP co-exist on same system?

I’m currently running M100 v. 8.2.2 on a dual 1 Ghz G4, in OS 10.3.9. I would like to upgrade to Tiger, and also install Final Cut Pro 5 on the same system. Are there any pitfalls I should look out for? I am using the M100 software codec, but would most likely just be working in DV in FCP.

    Thanks –
    Mike

why not use M100 Software only and when the DV i/O is released
have the best of both worlds.

i have found the difference in versions of quicktime that are supported by M100 and FCP stops you from having crash free operation of both NLE’s on the same machine – unless you partition off the machine?

better still wait til NAB in April
